A 2014 graduate of Ursinus College, Jesse Krasna was the starting point guard and three-year captain for the men’s basketball team where he was named to the 2013 and 2014 Centennial All-Conference and All-Sportsmanship teams. In his final season, Jesse averaged 14 points per contest and led the conference in assists per game. He also became one of just fifteen players in Ursinus basketball history to eclipse the 1,000-point mark.

 

Jesse is a 2010 Pennsbury High School graduate. At PHS, he was a four-year letter winner contributing to one of the most successful runs in PHS boys’ basketball history, including multiple trips to the state and district playoff tournaments. He is one of the winningest players in the history of Pennsbury basketball, posting a record of 93-25 throughout his four years.

 

Committed to success both on and off the court, Jesse received the Hunsicker academic scholarship and made the Dean’s list each semester while at Ursinus, finishing with a 3.75 GPA. He was awarded the Rick and Chris Block Memorial scholarship for his achievements while at Pennsbury. Jesse is extremely passionate about working with aspiring young athletes. He is an elementary health teacher in the Centennial School District and the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Council Rock North High School. Prior to CR North, Jesse coached high school girls basketball at New-Hope Solebury and helped guide the Lions to a District 1AA title and back to back league championships for the first time in school history.

Tom Townsend is a 2014 graduate of Council Rock South and a 2017 graduate of Millersville University. Tom played on the basketball team at MU for two seasons where he stood out as a 3pt marksmen. After graduation, Tom began his professional career overseas before returning to the United States to play for the Lehigh Valley Legends of the TBL. Tom is now an assistant coach with Jesse at Council Rock North where he specializes in player development for the Indians.

BRIDGET BIRKHEAD

ZAK KUMOR

Bridget Birkhead is a 2017 Graduate of Central Bucks East High School where she was a four year varsity player, a three year starter and a two time All-Conference player. She made a name for herself as a three point sharp shooter and versatile player. By the time her varsity career finished in Doylestown, she became regarded as one of the best players in the area.

 

Bridget went on to play four years of Division 1 basketball at Mount St Mary’s before transferring to Radford University for her extra (Covid) year. In her final season, she averaged a career best 11 points per game, led the team in made three pointers (66) and shot better than 37% from three. She put a final stamp on her successful college career by being named to the Big South All-Academic Team. 

 

Bridget is a special education teacher and returned to her alma mater (CB East) to coach the junior varsity girls basketball team. She enjoys training players and helping them reach their full potential.

Zak Kumor is a 2014 graduate of Elmira College where he was a two year captain for the men's basketball team. 

 

A 2010 graduate of Pennsbury High School, Zak was a four year letter winner and led the Falcons to the state quarterfinals his senior year. Nicknamed the "swiss army knife" for his versatility on the court, Zak was the Big Orange winner, which goes to the player with the most combined points, assists, rebounds, blocks and steals in a season.

 

Zak is currently an 8th grade math teacher at Grover Middle School and the Head Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at West Windsor-Plainsboro South.  Previously, Zak worked as an assistant coach for the boys basketball team at Council Rock North alongside Jesse.

TIM GUERS

Tim Guers recently finished his illustrious college basketball career at Division II Saint Anselm. He exits the program with the most career points, field goals, defensive rebounds and minutes played and the 2nd leading scorer in conference history. Guers stands as the only Hawks student-athlete ever to rank in the top-10 in career points (2,327), overall rebounds (808) and assists (521). He finishes ranked second in career free throws made (485), second in career games played (122), third all-time in career points per game (19.1), seventh in overall rebounding (808), seventh in assists (521), ninth in career three-point baskets (244) and 10th in blocked shots (56). 

​

In his senior season, Guers averaged 21.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. He shot a remarkable 47.8% from the field, 43.5% from the 3pt line and 85.9% from the free throw line. He led the Saint Anselm Hawks to the Division II Final Four, was named NE10 Conference Player of the Year for the 2nd consecutive season, was a NABC All-American and a finalist for the Bevo Francis Award (top player in Division II).

​

Prior to St. Anselm, Tim Guers was a prolific scorer for Germantown Academy where he was a two time ALL-STATE selection, named 1st team ALL-INTER-AC in consecutive seasons and voted as the INTER-AC MVP his junior year.

​

Guers has played professional basketball overseas in several contries including Luxembourg, Australia, Vietnam and Iceland.
